Hoplolichas

Hoplolichas has a wide triangular cephalon. Glabella is inflated anteriorly to overhang the frontal cephalic border. Axial furrows are deep and continuous. Genal angles are produced into long and robust spines. Thoractic segments may be ornamented with short spines. Pygidium is strongly furrowed. Exoskeleton is ornamented with coarse tubercies. Two species are known in St.Petersburg region - Hoplolichas plautini and Hoplolichas tricuspidatus.
